I think we've reached a tipping point when it comes to the Prem/Championship gap. The three promoted teams are going down, and if Wolves pull away it won't even be close. Same will happen next season. The lower half prem teams are simply too strong. It's a big problem.

I'm not sure what Man U would expect Mainoo or Garnacho to fetch. For me, Mainoo lacks the physical attributes to be elite and Garnacho doesn't produce enough G/A. I think £40m for either would be doing pretty well.

Eustace to Derby makes me think of Amorim to Man U. "Long term project". If you take over a club in jeopardy mid season then things can spiral out of control before you have time to implement ideas. Momentum & narrative lost and the blame falls at your feet, fault or not.
