This week my pastoral work is walking in grief with a former member at a distance as their father dies. One of the few times I really wish I had a co-minister so I could get up and go be with them. Pray for Jerry as he enters hospice care and for Sid and Debbie as they prepare for their loss.

Funniest moment in church yesterday was when the young man (10 years old) who lights our candles got confused and instead of snuffing out the forth advent candle, he relit his candlelighter with it and processed out 💀💀 I had to lean over and blow it out
