Should have sown seeds instead of the wind, buddy!

The constitution is quite clear: We The People are commanded - ordered! - to form a more perfect union, to establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, secure the blessings of liberty, etc. We citizens cannot shirk this responsibility, and certainly cannot let the United States rot away.

I could make a reference to watering the tree of liberty or to Charles Stuart or to Citizen Capet or Julius Caesar or even Nicolae Ceausescu but there's not much of a point to it, you know what the founders would have done with such a man

The crowd recognized it, responded by cheering, and he acknowledged that in return. It isn't some sneaky thing a few elites are caught up in, dogwhistling to the fringes. It is the base of their movement. Because they're Nazis. Sincere, unambiguous fans of Hitler and everything that goes with that.

This perfectly aligns with my POV because it shouldn't be considered OK for adults to abdicate their responsibility to be minimally informed. If these people are only going to choose Sanders or a fascist, then even though I like Sanders, that means that group is hugely morally deficient.

No fucking kings!! God damn this dumb son of a bitch

gravedigger of american democracy. a more malign influence than john c calhoun.

I want that illegal immigrant in prison

The war on our federal government through DOGE isn’t making it more efficient—it’s just inflicting pain on thousands of talented workers and making America less secure and competitive. See our statement from CNL Director Colin Mortimer & Steering Committee Chair @cathy.bsky.social:

Q: Now look closely, 007. Now this might look like a normal Windproof Compact Stick Umbrella for Rain, Trusted Seller One-Click Automatic Open and Close, Strong Reinforced Fiberglass Ribs, Easily Collapsible, Lightweight Portable Umbrellas for Travel Umbrella but turn the handle & the device will ex

Hand to God you'd never find me as a senator acting like a widdle smol bean. These oathbreaking cowards should keep a gun on them. That's what we're supposed to do in this country slam full of gun violence, isn't it, or is that a farce too (the answer may surprise you)

If you are not willing to serve your country, you can resign.

imagine buying yourself dictatorial powers over the most powerful entity on earth and all you think of doing is like defunding cancer research grants. you have a genie and you’re using your wishes to make the world worse

one of the southern cis white guy superpowers is putting on my texas drawl and being like "ah don't care 'bout none of that. it's none'a mah business. let the kids be who they are, they got enough problems. they wanna poop in kitty litter, i don't mind. 'least they're in school"

I mean this without a shred of irony: The basic principles of democracy demand that Republicans who have bowed to these threats resign immediately. Their seats should be considered empty until new elections can be held

Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage.

The word you're looking for is "perjury". I thought senators had egos that would make them more than mildly irritated that they were lied to

For all the good it will do, I called my senators asking if they support the new monarchy. Budd and Tillis already have no self-determination but maybe they can snap tf out of it

Because almost all remaining media jobs are filled with ivy league nepo babies and the doings on campus makes them feel young again

My office building put so much salt out it's a genuine slipping hazard

the next president should bring perjury charges against every trump cabinet secretary

This kind of garbage from people like Chuck Schumer killed us - KILLED US - during election season. If your party is saying Trump is a fascist and this is the end of democracy, you cannot pal around with democracy's gravedigger at swanky public events. Go away, Chuck. nypost.com/2024/10/18/u...

Why doesn't he fucking quit then if we have a king to do it all?
