So I'm gonna say something that'll easily be misconstrued, but those scenes between Denji and Yoru aren't framed as sexual assault within the story. Don't want to call him out, but boys being abused by girls is still played off as a joke and Fujimoto might have that as a blind spot too.

Gonna get real, the fact that a number of the Zizians were otherkin isn't insubstantial to how insane that situation got. There's a real issue with shut-ins getting into hyper-individualized spaces and politics that create a feedback loop into further isolation. Just touch grass, I guess.

I just got done with Eureka Seven a couple days ago, but I'm pretty sure I tried it out back when I was getting into anime. I definitely saw the first couple episodes even if I can't place the year. Funnily enough, I know I would've gotten more out of it back then if I stuck with it the first time.

Since Chainsaw Man part 2 is probably on it's last arc or two, it's safe to say it got kind of unbalanced. Asa being the new protagonist was the best creative choice ever, but now she's gotten sidelined and a lot of time that could've been given to Denji and Nayuta was sacrificed.
