Another lovely day for walkies. I love this road but don't have many days with enough strength for the return uphill hike. Why are the best paths the most difficult?

Carney correctly doesn't speak of this as if he's holding out hope for a return to the status quo ante, or as if things will go back to normal even if Trump keels over tomorrow. Nobody can trust us again, the US is not a reliable anchor for all these things anymore, and you can't un-ring that bell.

Husband asked what I wanted for my birthday. I'm not much for gifts, told him I don't need anything as usual. He brought this home 😁😋 ( it's hard to find real donuts here, and he had to drive to the other side of Madrid to get these)

It's the time of year when I see articles telling folks to put pet fur out for bird nesting. The Cornell ornithology lab does not recommend this! Flea/tick treatments & shampoos can be toxic, long fur can entangle chicks, etc. There are much better alternatives: www.allaboutbirds.org/news/providi...
