Puffin paladin on his day off smithing. I’m getting back into an old #dnd campaign with a three year time skip. My paladin has just spent the past three years in the woods crafting and having an existential crisis about achieving all of his short term goals and wondering what happens next.

vacation #speedpaint I’m aiming to speed up how fast I can get at blocking out colors and say a lot with a few brush strokes. #rebelle7 is an amazing program for that.

Finished my #conceptart for the betta fish dragon!

some more daffodils

Working on a dragon piece, this time trying to line the background before I begin painting.

Painted this in the summer of last year but never got around to posting it on Bluesky. The burrowing snagret is one of my favorite #pikmin enemies with a lot of fun textures to paint on.

Dungeon entrance painting. I’ve been playing around with the idea of having very clear entrances for DnD that are mystical and alien in nature. I want to work at creating concept art quickly so I can crank out visual examples for players.

Puffin Paladin Speedpaint

New dnd character I’ve been playing, Eris, a draconic bloodline sorcerer

Digitally colored version of the steam wyrm

Pen drawing of a wyrm creature I was inspired to make after rewatching Nausicaa Valley of the Wind

Some concept art I painted for a dnd campaign I have in mind. I had fun playing around with clip studio paint’s artistic filters to give this painting a sharper look.

Personal art of a character I’m workshopping :0

Rebelle has been really fun to experiment in! So many cool textures and coloring methods to try. I highly recommend it if you have the funds to purchase it. Here’s a study of my dog, Finley

Rebelle 7 Pro study of a vacation photo I took. It’s a really cool software, there’s just a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the new tools

I’m trying to keep more active on Bluesky! I hope you don’t mind being tagged on every platform @skywardnerd.bsky.social, but I drew some gift art for him last night that I wanted to post here. I’m pretty happy with how the colors turned out, and it was a ton of fun to draw.

images taken less than a second apart

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been posting on this site, so here’s a few drawings I’ve done in-between

Drew a little guy of mine to practice using Rebelle. It’s definitely hard to break the muscle memory of Clip Studio, but I’m itching to learn a new software

Drew my rogue monkey goblin, Cork, during dnd today

I had fun experimenting with shapes and colors, and I ended up polishing the face a little bit to complete the piece

Designed a pangolin character

Keeping it up with Inktober day 4

Inktober day 3#l

Day 2 of inktober!

Giving inktober a shot this year!

Painted my little man, Pascal, yesterday to try and get those creative juices flowing

I’m gonna try using this app I swear, but it’s gonna be almost exclusively pikmin content

My little rendering of breadbug can waddle his way over to bluesky too

Did some dinosaur doodles while visiting the Chicago Field Museum!

Slapping this drawing here too. I redesigned an older character of mine to be a dragon. I still like both designs and might use them both for various pieces

Took my good boy dog on a hike yesterday, and we had a great time

Here’s a couple of different pieces of mine to pad out my empty account
