A commission for @theorah.bsky.social of Maxemelien Robespierre as an axolotl (Maxolotl?) Because why not!

Made an Angemon recently. Gonna take a short break from the Digimon sculpts to: 1) finally paint some of the ones I’ve made, and 2) branch out into other things to sculpt. I’ll continue the cryptids I did but also more fanart of other monster things.

It’s my birthday today! I’d love if you could consider sharing my work 🫶

MINI SCULPTORS! - Who specialise in weird little guys (that’s…all of you?) Do you own The Comical Dreams of Pantagruel? If not, you should, it’s full of weirdos.

So far the best thing about this site is that while the audience is smaller than what I had, it’s far more focused. That’s always better and I’d much rather foster quality over quantity.

My first ever 3D project (minus the Donut tutorial) was to model and print “Kabo Mandalat”, a South Pacific demoness as she appears in an obscure Shigeru Mizuki book I have. I never finished it. But as I learned to digitally sculpt, I could do it faster now.

I have had a productive day! I’ve dusted some old Pokemon Tomy figures. They look new and shiny again. I have left the rest of the shelf dusty around them.

Angemon SD figure WIP! Soon to be finished ready for printing. #digimon

Since 2018 I’ve had a spare hand from a Hope van Dyne/ Wasp action figure lost somewhere in the lining of my jacket. Could be somewhere on my shoulder for all I know…

Facebook posting - but not crediting - an excerpt from Zack Davisson’s KAIBYO: THE SUPERNATURAL CATS OF JAPAN. I love me some Japanese folklore, be it yūrei, kaibyo, yokai etc. It’s responsible for all the stuff I’m into. Makes me wanna sculpt a whole bunch of that stuff!

www.creativerightsinai.co.uk/new-page UK friends, please please email your MP using this handy template- asking them to fight proposed changes in copyright laws that would mean AI generators will continue *and be encouraged* to be able to steal our work with zero consequences.

I got a black light before realising the UV paints I bought glow just fine without it. Oh well. At least it makes my paint rack look cool! (No I won’t tidy my desk.)
