📚🪐 Back to the roots... A. E. van Vogt I have an ambivalent relationship with the author. Some of his works are fast-paced and gripping (Isher duology, "The Voyage of the Space Beagle", "The War Against the Rull", "Future Glitter") , but I have to struggle with others (e.g. "Null-A")...🤷

#movies #horror Watched recently "Eden Lake" from 2008 ... O M G ! The real horror is that man is his own worst beast. There is no need for supernatural horror. Or jump scares. A gem that is easy to miss. In its consistently bleak, dark development, unwatchable for many.
