Bring Her Back is only the 2nd feature film from RackaRacka, and already I'm feeling confident in their future careers. Fair warning, this movie gets dark, includes depictions of child abuse. But Sally Hawkins gives an incredible performance!

I have a question about original movies: Do you think there’s a self-fulfilling prophesy at play when they underperform or outright flop, or should each one be judged on a case by case basis? This was inspired by the early box office projections for Elio, the latest from Disney/Pixar.

Enjoy a brand new episode of Renegade Marquee! This time, Nick and I discuss Final Destination: Bloodlines, while paying tribute to the late Tony Todd!

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is good, but the road to get to the great stuff might be a bit rocky. Tom Cruise pulls off two of the craziest stunts of the year, and Ving Rhames (only other actor to appear in all 8 films) hits you right in the feels.

Man, #TheLastOfUsSeason2 finale crushed me. What happens to Ellie in this episode is just so brutal, as she's caught in the cycle of violence. Also, Jesse gets a great moment to shine, putting his selflessness on full display. Looking forward to season 3, after THAT cliffhanger!

Friendship is one of the funniest movies of the year, as long as you're acclimated to Tim Robinson's off-kilter sense of humor. The best way I can describe this is to put The Cable Guy and I Love You, Man in a blender. See it ASAP!

I have my criticisms, but overall I quite enjoyed #LiloandStitch! Its biggest strengths are the chemistry between the two sisters, and Chris Sanders slipping effortlessly back into the role of the titular blue chaos gremlin. I can comfortably recommend.

Enjoy a brand new episode of Renegade Marquee! This time, Nick and I celebrate the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith! What are some fond memories you have of seeing this movie in theaters, either for the first time, or at the most recent re-release last month?

Even as someone who didn't play the game, I still felt all the emotions watching tonight's episode of #TheLastOfUsSeason2. It's a flashback episode, but it's also an important part of Joel and Ellie's respective arcs. Pedro and Bella knocked THAT scene out of the park!

Clown in a Cornfield was a blast, for the most part. The social commentary can be a little on the nose, but if you're here for the kills, this movie does not disappoint! Frendo is a great new addition to the Cinematic Clown Canon.

It took me a while, but I finally got around to finishing #AndorSeason2. Guys, I love this show so much. I love how much these last 3 episodes tie beautifully into Rogue One, but also stand on their own as great television. I hope more Star Wars shows can be as good as this.

I don't care if it's recency bias, because I stand by this: #FinalDestinationBloodlines is the best of the franchise. It's a movie made by fans, for fans, using what we love about what came before to tell a genuinely compelling family drama. See it ASAP!

So here's the deal: if you love horror or metal, we are friends. If you love both, we are best friends!

Since talk of the Superman trailer is still happening, I have to ask: what was your first exposure to the character, and when was the first time you called yourself a fan?

Enjoy a brand new episode of Renegade Animation! This time, @camseyeview.biz and I discuss Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing, The Rose of Versailles, and Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld!

I finally got myself caught up with #TheLastOfUsSeason2, and tonight's episode was pretty damn great! Anyone who's saying that Bella Ramsay isn't a good fit to play Ellie by now is lying to themselves. The last 10 minutes alone are some of their best moments so far.

When critics were raving about the best episodes of #AndorS2, these were the three they were referring to, and now I understand why! Forget Star Wars, this is just great television period. There are some truly devastating moments in these episodes, especially the last two.

Enjoy a brand new episode of Renegade Jukebox! This time, Nick and I spend an hour gushing over one of our favorite albums of all time, Shogun!

The Surfer is another excellent showcase of how great Nic Cage is as an actor, in this deliriously slow burn psychological thriller. Try to go into this as blind as possible, and if you can get on its wavelength, you will love it!

Ask me stuff!

I'm sorry Hatsune Miku fans, but Colorful Stage is not a good movie, despite its gorgeous animation and stellar soundtrack. Maybe it's because I'm unfamiliar with the source material, but what ultimately holds this movie back is having too many characters, and not enough reason to care.

I'm aware that saying "best MCU movie since Endgame" has turned into a big ol' cliché by now, but what if that's how I genuinely felt about #Thunderbolts? What if every Marvel movie had the potential to be this good, to tell a story this rich? Go see this!

This was a fun episode to discuss a polarizing show on a leveled playing field. We talk about the overall show and also look at the hit indie pilot The Gaslight District. Make sure to like and share out the episode for those who are looking for proper discussions about animation.

Thanks @camseyeview.biz and @captainkaye42.bsky.social for having me on this one. This one has been in the works and was so happy to be on. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/r...

#AndorSeason2 really is firing on all cylinders! The Ghorman arc has some incredibly sharp dialogue, great character moments between Cassian and Bix, and one of the more tense heists of the series. I said it before about season 1, but it feels like I'm watching a Star Wars novel.

This movie looks wonderful and is one of the many reasons why more animation fans need to get into checking out foreign animation. Get out of your comfort zone and follow folks like @catsuka.bsky.social or me and @captainkaye42.bsky.social and we will help introduce you to a huge world of animation!

One thing I love about #TheLastOfUsSeason2 is its emphasis on the importance of community. This latest episode deals with the fallout of a major tragedy, and how these characters plan to move forward. It's not always the easiest watch, but still worth it nonetheless.

If you're looking for a good ol' fashioned family film that harkens back to the classics, then I recommend seeking out #TheLegendOfOchi as soon as you can!

This review of #UntilDawn is from the perspective of someone who hasn't played the game. With that being said, I am happy to see director David F. Sandberg return to his horror roots, and this cast is a lot of fun. Just wish the screenplay was tighter.

The Accountant 2 kicks so much ass, even with a few hiccups along the way. What matters is Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal have such great chemistry together as estranged brothers, and the third act is absolutely incredible. See it as soon as you can!

I know it's going to sound like hyperbole, but I genuinely believe that #Andor is the best thing to come from the Disney era of Star Wars. The first two episodes of Season 2 are pretty entertaining, but episode 3 is when shit gets real, and at one point, really uncomfortable.

I haven't played #TheLastOfUs Part II, but I know what happens because I have friends who have. That didn't make tonight's episode any less impactful, and that is a testament to the incredible performances by Kaitlyn Dever, Pedro Pascal, and Bella Ramsay.
