So the NHTSA has given the CyberTruck a 5-star rating. electrek.co/2025/02/19/t... I guess that's the difference between the US and Europe. In the US you get 5 stars if you protect the owner. In Europe you get 5 stars if you protect the owner as well as cyclists and pedestrians.

Just so you get an idea of who has what percentage of BEV in their new registrations. I haven't yet updated all of them to include the most recent month, but you know.... to get an idea. And yes, you read that correctly, Uruguay is further ahead than Germany.

It doesn't happen often but "I've been had" by the media. Specifically Hart van Nederland. I told them electric cars catch fire 50x less than combustion vehicles. They leave that out and only let me talk about the fires being more problematic (min. 5 to 7). www.hartvannederland.nl/uitzendingen...
