For my mental health, I'm going to start sharing my crochet and art instead of focusing on politics. That stuff is still important, but my energy for it is better served out in the real world, not on social media. So here's a picture of a blanket I'm currently working on.

The state of the country and the misinformation flying everywhere on social media is depressing and exhausting. If anything is going to change, people need to take their rage off the internet and into the real world. Get involved. Donate money. Attend a protest.

Ugh, I want to move here permanently but having trouble leaving FB because of some of the resources available (local events/opportunities mostly). Not sure how I'd access some of those things that FB exclusive. But I really want to leave the metaverse.
