Heard some Flower Travellin' Band in my head... so I'm back from the edge. The Apocalypse still remains lame AF.

I remember the first time I saw a VIC-20 at a friends house back in the day. The first thought that went through my mind was DAMN THAT TEXT IS BIG, then I played @stinkyox.bsky.social's Gridrunner... what a great machine, and what a great developer!

Take a look here wiki.synchro.net/resource:term and make sure you choose something with ANSI support. My personal preference for Windows would be SyncTERM.

I still remember the software industry. It was such a shame to see it disappear due to piracy, it feels like yesterday when all the companies closed shop and it all went away. I feel for all the young people who will never experience the joys of paying for a game... oh wait.

Same, I'd lined up a banger or 2. I probably would have won the Internet... 🫠

I'm not saying this made me get out a stop watch... but if I did it took 1.41 seconds.

I had to reorganise my lounge room around the new TV. Everything has been rotated, and moved to create a more comfortable viewing angle. In other news : holy shit 11 year olds are crusty. While moving the furniture I found a bunch of food, toys, and general crud down the side of the couch. KIIID!

I'm not connecting this device to the Wi-Fi every time I use it. It is the only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi device I have and unless I'm playing with the WebMite's network features the connection is disabled. Hopefully in the future there is a 5GHz Pico, then I'll edit the startup routine to automate ntp, etc.

Colour over remote access working perfectly.

Overclocking time: Picomite firmware max speed I can get 378MHz. Webmite firmware 252MHz. Temps are okay on both. The WebMite max speed seems to be a bug.

Cheers, I should just download the CMM2 manual and see what options are available. I'm glad you're liking it... but let's both be honest what we really need is Commodore to come back from the dead and re-release the Amiga. ;)

Can you overclock the CMM2? Once I found out how to do that on the PicoMites I started thinking I might not need the MaxiMite. The highest I've managed to go was 420MHz, not bad for something rated at 133MHz. Can't wait to see how far I can push the Pico 2 W when it arrives tomorrow.
