Juno nomination for Children’s Album Of The Year? the Good Lovelies and I had such a hoot making this album! like Baby Beluga, my Penny Penguin song has a wild and free spirit. thrilled that after 5 decades my music still shines. kudos to my recording engineer and to Chris Stringer in Toronto.

You have to speak to your friends and family who may vote for Doug Ford despite the chore they are. You have to communicate that he will privatize healthcare. It is the one issue people of every demographic can rally around. He’s bleeding healthcare dry and the Fed government has let him. #onpoli

A little Monday good news from me! The Narwhal has learned that Rouge National Urban Park is set to grow. Later today, the federal government will announce it has scrapped a plan for an airport in Pickering. Most of the land it set aside for the proposed airport will instead go to Parks Canada 🌳

Time for another piece of art to share and cleanse my timeline (can't cope with all this political nonsense all day). This one is The Waltz by Camille Claudel, as we saw at the Musée Rodin in Paris last fall, inspired by Claudel's love affair with her mentor, Auguste Rodin. One of my favourites.
