Indeed. We also need local and state parties to plan for 2026 right now. Avoid wasteful damaging primaries, vet potential candidates now, and build/repair relationships with electoral communities to make sure everyone supports the candidate.

one good thing to come out of this is a renewed respect for government workers. republicans been shitting on federal workers since reagan and they are the people who keep the country running. they allow us to go about our daily lives without worrying about how everything we use works.
