Lived history. I grew up in 1950's Memphis. When I was a child, there was one day of the week that black kids were allowed to go to the Zoo. As a good Catholic white child, I didn't understand??? Things I lived through. Can't let it be re-written. I wish I'd grown up with Black History Month.
