Thoroughly deserved win. Pressure, of course, from United, but Patto only really had one or two saves. We always looked dangerous and more likely to nick the third. Some strong performances from Neil, Mayenda, Aouchiche, Mepham. Brilliant win! #safc

I get all the "we'd have taken 4th at NY", but we are clearly now settled in our position. We aren't good enough to go up & will have to take the lottery of Play-Offs, if we can stay top 6 - hopefully we will. That's not being negative, but realistic. We are where we are, given the squad we have.

Always had a 'soft spot' for Sheff Utd, thanks to family & friendship links, but Chris Wilder is an awful character. His recent interviews have been arrogant & conceited, so seeing Baggies tearing them apart, hot on the heels of Burnley turning them over raises a smile. Just as long we beat 'em too!

Interesting to compare tables now & in both 2023 & 2022. #Safc had 31pts from 23 games in 2022, 33pts last year. That had us 13th in '22 & 9th in '23. It's not too dissimilar this year, with Sheff Wed on 29pts & 9th with 2 games to play.
