Anyways, onto madrid #vamos

40 second goal-kick into a whistle 10 seconds early… then doesn’t call that block on Raya. Fucking clown

Tierney is a super player

It's a bit apples to oranges, but compare giving a penalty for that with Patterson not getting a yellow card in the opening minutes for a wild, dangerous foul on Ethan Nwaneri. Once again, ticky-tack nothing gets called. Violent play escapes unpunished.

This reeks of a scammy 1-1 because Chelsea have truly had nothing so far

Fancy a david raya hit here #maestro

Unrelated to impact on Arsenal tie but I don’t see that double touch… have to feel hard done by if you’re athletico madrid

Ahhhhhhhhh!

@gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com Evening lads, thoughts on a system change? With injuries, a 3-5-2 seems to offer some solutions: Leo & ethan more central and width provided by KT/Calafiori. We have the fullback/midfield depth and attack has felt stale without press triggers (kai, jesus) or…

Red card reminds of Coquelin against Sp*rs in 2016… in the sense that there’s some finality on title slipping away. Of course maybe this should have been obvious for a few weeks now but it’s the hope that kills you

Feel bad for sterling at this point

If MLS did that to Bowen he’d be off… #ifxhakadidthat

Everyone's acting like the sky's falling in when I've never seen a better excuse to bring Carlos Vela home

It took just two minutes at the Emirates Stadium for Gabriel and Erling Haaland to reignite their rivalry...

Referee Michael Oliver hasn't given an Arsenal opponent a red card since March 2021 (Lamela, Spurs at Arsenal), in that same time (21 matches total) he's given Arsenal 5 red cards. In 62 Arsenal matches refereed, Oliver has given Arsenal 9 reds, opponents 5; awarded Arsenal 5 pens, opponents 14.

Bluesky is supposed to be more moderate than X yet all I want to do is cuss out michael oliver #amidoingthisright

That red card has left such a sour taste in my mouth. I really try to avoid referee conspiracy talk, but that's just another decision - in a season of shitty decisions - that get given against Arsenal and nobody else. It's not violent conduct, he's not denying a goalscoring opportunity. I'm done.

Please tell me in what world, a trip - 85 YARDS FROM GOAL - is considered a red card. That's the most textbook yellow card you will see. Where is the precedent for a decision like that? There isn't any because Arsenal are always the precedent.

Another red card given to Arsenal that you won't see again this season. It happens all too often.
