My ketamine experience was more “receive the wisdom of my ancestors” and not “let’s kill the poors.” I guess for Elon thats really more of a “yes, and.”

Truth and something folks with cluster B personality disorders do on the daily…they’re also probs lying to themselves too tho

We’re at a leadership inflection point: Emotionally immature leaders trying to burn the entire house down, trust in leaders is falling at a record pace. Learn more about how to boost your leadership resilience in times of turbulence here: www.ginevradrinka.com/thought-lead...

Proud of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology's Executive Board statement released this morning, condemning: "blunt force stoppages in grant funding, employment, and policy enforcement" as well as many other things. www.siop.org/news-center/... #IOPsych

There are parallels with employee engagement surveys… When leaders don’t action on feedback, employees are like “wtf, why did I bother” since it didn’t lead to meaningful change and it can lead to decreased engagement over time. I think about this parallel with voter behavior ALL THE TIME

Through the forest, to the beach… a great, relaxing weekend 💙

Then we’re in for a lot more thoughtful voting cuz American’s lack of wellbeing is at an all time low

The darker the personality traits, the darker the ideological beliefs

How women fight back against bro culture: - combat microaggresions by asking "what do you mean?" - stand up for other women, even just by responding to toxic behavior w/ "huh" - share your salary info w/ other women - use buying power w/ inclusive companies www.fastcompany.com/91272686/how...

Innovations come from the most unexpected places.

my brain cannot process this >heritage foundation lead researcher comes out as trans on twitter >all her right wing coworkers use her correct pronouns and name and congratulate her what

The government asked people to make sacrifices to help each other in an extraordinary circumstance and it completely broke some people

beware of people who wrong you then blame you for your reaction over the pain they caused you, then tell people they were the victim in the situation. these could be signs of narcissism. learn the signs so you could avoid these people.

Rampant in tech. Being a genius at one thing doesn’t mean you’re a genius in all domains. Quite the opposite sometimes.

Today in “well duh” research findings 🤣🫠😬 I love how this research basically operationalises what women already know - dudes (no, not all please don’t come for me) on average are more likely to be less emotionally mature than women

Absolutely. We’re seething with rage it’s come to this but we can’t name call. We have to show our emotional maturity when they have little to none. Name-calling causes defensiveness and doubling down. We won’t agree on much but we DO need to agree on democracy. That is table stakes.

The reason none of the coping mechanisms are working is because the coping mechanisms are for when your nervous system is responding *as though* there is a lion in the room, but there isn't. The lion is in the room. Your reaction is reasonable.

Went on a walk again to recalibrate my nervous system. Talked to my uncle. Social support and exercise are critical pillars in managing difficult times. What are you doing to take care of yourself?

Happy National Embroidery Month my friends!
