Trump threatening 200% tariffs on alcohol makes me laugh a little too hard. Americans will buy less and the companies will recover their losses with better deals for us in Europe to buy more. I'll drink to that (single malt Scottish whiskey). No more bourbon for me.

One of my friends walked into a meeting this morning where they were told to source potential non-US supply lines for everything they needed. Rising costs from tariffs may see US businesses crumble over the next few years and people want backups in place. This could be great news for the EU.
