My first nin, I will always love this album

Trump being the antichrist stocks are way up for the first time in forever

The quotes on this terrible fucking post. This is such a symbol of everything wrong with everything today. Fuck Fandom and fuck private equity generally. Video link relevant youtu.be/gqtrNXdlraM?...

It is such an insane state of affairs that Giant Bomb is all but dead and everyone who used to work there with very few exceptions now does the same things but for Patreon subs. The website that pioneered the subscription model in the space. That popularized video formats still widely used today.

Giant Bomb deserves better.

I gotta say I really respect the balls on @janochoa.bsky.social and the Bomb Crew to just give their stupid parent company the middle finger. It is really telling that it's taken down everywhere. Money folks with weak dispositions. This is why Gerstmann noped the fuck out.

This is the best baseball catch I have seen in my life.

We have reached levels of cringe previously thought unattainable

Boycotts only mean something when they have real impact. This is real impact. Respect to the crew.

Risk of Fungus

I unjoined the Tech Pod Discord at some point but the Q turned into an A about where people are listening to the podcast, not to rain on a parade but I would think people on VPNs would show from different countries? @willsmith.fun

Uh

Lukewarm take: Giant Bomb died when Jeff Gerstmann was fired/quit. The shambling corpse it has been for the last couple years finally coming to a stop would be very sad because there are good people working there, but not unexpected.

Biff Burger was a fun little burger joint in St. Pete that I lived across the street from back when I first moved to Florida. Had their menu hand-written on a big board, made cheap meals that were so delicious and terrible for you. It's gone, they built a car wash there.

Yo I'm in the Twin Cities next week what's good up there

OMG ITS ANDOR TIME

Listen they have to pay for those tax breaks somehow

It really is something

Shouts to @fdsignifier.bsky.social turning the melon on to this record, I'm losing sleep to spin it tonight, this thing is WILD www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeJ3...

RIP The Pope

The Bowen Yang cameo during Charli xcx set also a fun moment. I love Couchella.

Dave Grohl playing with the LA Philharmonic at Coachella. What a day.

Thank you Coachella for introducing me to Glass Beams. What a cool band.

Last song playing right now on the YouTube replay. This band has all of my heart. The Prodigy Forever.

Words cannot describe what this scene did to me the first time I saw it. It's great by itself but in the context of everything else it's one of the greatest moments of any show I've ever watched. Andy Serkis is a treasure. Can't wait for season 2.

sigh.

New Black Mirror season is decent, Eulogy is a standout episode. Paul Giamatti is incredible.

Thems good arts

This is incredibly jaw-droppingly good. Might be the best Thought Slime video, which is a high bar.

I don't think anyone on this site has talked about this, so let me teach you something, bsky. This is NEMSIS: nemsis.org

Tax cuts for the rich are bad for a lot of reasons but the logic of this link doesn't make any sense to me. No one should be assessing the impact of a budget like this for more than 4 years, there is (almost) zero chance that Trump is still president, we'll have a different budget.

The majority of the goods on the shelves of every Walmart and Target in the country. Either made in China or made with stuff from China.
