Our police chief should be subject to vetting and scrutiny to assure we get someone who carries out the job ethically and responsibly. If he wasn’t okay with that, then it is what it is. I agree with Councilperson Coghill here.

My hope for transit oriented development in Pittsburgh down the line is that they come up with a plan to broadly upzone around transit rather than targeting it to specific places. In fact, maybe we should just upzone *everywhere* but people aren’t ready for my radical urbanist ambitions 😤

The Pittsburgh department of city planning is no longer pursuing transit oriented development zoning amendments. It was certainly not the best implementation it could’ve been, but it is a shame this has been fumbled so badly along with being attached to a poorly thought out IZ proposal

triblive.com/local/gainey... Not a fan of how @gaineyformayor.com is fear-mongering over trans issues and immigration here. Nothing O’Connor has said has suggested anything of the sort and Gainey received similar donations in the past. Tired of trans people being used as a political pawn.
