That said, the fights against ableism and transphobia are inextricably linked. You cannot fight ableism while also being transphobic because both struggles are about personal autonomy, consent, capacity, control, adaptation, perception and the revolution of creating your own place in the world.

But maybe you can kinda picture it like when your foot falls asleep? You know how you want to move it and in theory you could, but because itās asleep, the actual functionality isnāt happening. Thatās how it can feel with verbal speech too.

Loving all the different answers because itās both dependent on the person + the situation. I donāt think in language, just visual & abstract, so sometimes I know exactly what I want to say, but translating it into words is impossible. Other time, I have the verbal thoughts in my head but canāt make
