Zohran Mamdani’s win has inspired over 3400 young people to raise their hands to run for office just since Tuesday. It’s now @runforsomething.net’s biggest candidate recruitment moment since the election. A new generation of leaders is here.

BREAKING: We're filing a new class-action lawsuit to challenge President Trump's lawsuit restricting birthright citizenship. The 14th Amendment is clear: Every child born on U.S. soil is a citizen, whether the president likes it or not.

democrats remain bewildered at the broad appeal and enthusiasm over anyone who will do something about all this shit

Palantir provides surveillance and tech infrastructure to enable the ICE raids terrorizing communities across the nation right now. Sign up to get involved at PurgePalantir.net!

We knew this about this Supreme Court. I guess everyone is on the same page now that the courts will not "save" us. The question is really how to save ourselves. On that, we need a lot more people doing a lot of different things for many years.

FOIA denials tell you a lot about what an agency wants to guard chicago public schools does not want to release any information that is has on how it's programming students with disabilities because i will see the violations included in the datasets cps is warehousing students with disabilities

"The Democratic base is fed up, done with the Democratic establishment." "Nationally, the vast majority of Democrats think that their party leaders should be replaced."

Family of #JabariPeoples Demands Answers After Fatal Police Shooting in Alabama, Says He Was Unarmed "Jabari was a college student. He had a family, a future, was unarmed. He complied. And now he’s gone," the family wrote.

Zohran Mamdani's shocked American pundits by running on a platform that provided an alternative to Trump, the Democrats catering to him (hello, Newsom), and misogynist Andrew Cuomo. his economics-first campaign stridently protected trans rights as Dems largely refuse to. me on his win @teenvogue.com

The easiest & safest (for them) way for ICE to boost their arrest numbers by a dozen people per day was to grab them from immigration court, which only required a small team of agents. But protesters put their bodies on the line, causing building management to change the rules & ICE’s logistics…

News: The American Academy of Pediatrics says it will no longer take part in the process of ACIP meetings. “We won’t lend our name or our expertise to a system that is being politicized at the expense of children’s health,” the group's president says. www.statnews.com/2025/06/25/c...

If you're a journalist this needs to be every headline. Transphobia defeated in New York Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

FOLKS

Who could have guess a guy who campaigned on kitchen table issues, social progressivism, and anti-apartheid turned out to be more likable than the disgraced, withered sex ghoul who kills grandmas?

Imagine if the Democratic Party actually helped Zohran instead of trying to kneecap him at every step. A better party is immediately possible if they stop shoving money into the anti-trans combination Racism Dial/Money Toilet and instead get behind candidates people actually want.

This is BS. I ran for office in a red state and won with 80% of the vote. I regularly talk about my identity when I knock doors. The key is to do so a way that connects to other issues (e.g. being trans shapes how I think about ALL healthcare access, threats to education, etc.). It's that simple.

As a Minnesotan, this shit is wild

“6.’How do we tell better stories to engage donors?’ We don’t. Donors need to grow the hell up and stop expecting to be fed palatable narratives about injustice before they’re motivated to do something about it.”

EXCLUSIVE — The Onion has a full-page ad in today’s NYT featuring part of an editorial calling out congressional fecklessness towards Trump. They also sent a copy of their latest issue to every lawmaker. My report, with an excerpt from the full editorial: www.thehandbasket.co/p/exclusive-...

Why are no headlines focusing on the unconstitutional and dictatorial nature of this action?

Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium. ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

There's a vaccine for cancer and we're going to get rid of it because of massive disinformation campaigns by this fucking death culture
