Show some bows 🏹🏹

I rly need all y’all saying “Oh I wanna do ArtFight but I’m worried I can’t draw enough/am too busy/etc.” to know you can just join, it’s all for fun and games, obviously it’s polite and nice and enjoyable to reciprocate when you get art but it’s not a crime to not attack/revenge, please stress less

Getting tired

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! another one: what i call "the dog whistle method" (the pavlovian conditioning) for a few weeks or months, listen to the same song/album/sound when working. after a while, you will wire your brain to feel productive whenever you hear it.

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! Don't wait for things to be perfect. You'll never get anything done that way! Finished and flawed is better than perfect and never done.

god damn he's cooking

Seigren for succubees(x/twitter)! Thank you for commissioning me!

No fr I always had to tell myself: if you drew it once you can draw it again. (To get over my fear of scrapping and trying again.)

It’s every parent’s nightmare, isn’t it? you check your child’s bulletproof backpack and find a picture book about gay penguins

Wooden sword training ⚔️ [oc, fragment]

I'm preaching to the choir but restricting the stories you expose to your children is only going to bite you in the end, by either losing them to people who WILL care about them...or you will lose them... It will hopefully be the former where they survive and gives you a chance to fix your heart.

I make this post once every few months but please be liberal with your reposts on Bluesky! We don't have a central algorithm, so we actively have to bring attention to and repost the things we like on here! c: If you're worried about having a clean profile, consider making a feed for your content!

If you get an office job then all the basic art supplies you really need can just be stolen in small quantities forever. Goes for both writing and visual art.

QT with your 💙 blue 💙 art! I realized how much of my blue art is really just purple or green. Had to go way back for something truly blue

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! "You reference photos to understand proportions. You reference other artists to understand how to translate those proportions onto canvas" Also "Just draw"

Successfully avoiding tangents briefly gives a damage boost. Multiple in a row creates a combo damage!

Oh this chain was made for me LOL. QT with your blue art! 💙

color saturation is usually at its highest in the middle of your value range and lowest at the ends 🙂‍↕️

👁️🪶🌟light bringer he belongs to @elleleh.bsky.social :>

The item [Artist Glove] can be equipped to negate the <Sweaty Hands> debuff when drawing on tablets or screens.

QRP with a loading screen art tip! When “learning from the masters,” try looking for pencil or charcoal sketches that the elder artists made. Sometimes looking at sketches vs the famous paintings will tell you a lot more about how the artist saw figures and shapes than the finished product!

sometimes you just gotta delete the whole thing and start over. 🤲

if you make the head too big, your character will look like a child. if you make the head too small, your character will look like a yaoi.

Use bounce light as a simple way to elevate your rendering, by matching the bounce light's color to your piece or it's surroundings ✨

When designing a pose, draw the hands BEFORE you draw the arms, then adapt the arms. When moving people usually focus on the location of their hands more than their arms, so the arms follow where the hands would go rather than vice versa.

this is more for merch than drawing, but if you're struggling with product photos, try taking them in natural light (near an open window), upping brilliance more than brightness, and turning down the warmth if the white appears yellowed.

If you don't know what colors to use for a piece, try out a random color palette generator online (e.g. coolors.co). Perfect for getting inspiration and trying out different combinations ✨️

Bye Baltimore :( I'll come back soon

lottie with some fresh new refs for artfight 🏵️ #art #ocart #artfight #dndart #dndoc

Hello my D&D players- please do me a favor for marketing purposes. Repost this post, and tell me in the comments what Class+Subclasses you're currently playing!

something that reshaped the way I draw heads - if person looking up, ears will be lower than the eyes, if person looking down, ears will be placed higher than the eyes (apologies for scribbly example)

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! Find references BEFORE you plan to start drawing a piece (like the night before). Nothing kills momentum and wastes valuable art time like hunting for a reference.

QRP with what would be your loading screen tip ✏️ Use shadow shapes in your compositions as much as object shapes and placements. Adding a clear lightsource really helps with expressing a scene or explain an object

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! Remember to check your thumb placement! Palm faces up, thumb goes outward. Palm faces down, thumb goes inward. #artsky #artisttips

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! Use sketchbooks to not only document ideas, but also to record references from experiences, visual exercises, research, & yr surroundings. Take time to then review yr sketchbooks - esp good to do when experiencing blocks! #ArtSky #ArtTips

🌟🌱Artists! QRP with what would be your loading screen tip! Practice figure drawing often, join challenges, give yourself a weekly goal, etc. It can be anywhere from 30secs to 10mins pose studies...Lots of webs with stock images you can use for free, there's really no excuse to neglect anatomy.

If you’ve been working on sometime for a long time and you’re starting to think it looks terrible take a break or look at it from a different angle. Chances are it looks great and you just need a break!

Happy #makeaterriblecomicday2025! It’s mandatory that you create some piece of sequential art — what it is and how you make it is up to you! Have fun! You might as well!

I think wars are bad and killing is bad but what do I know I’m just a silly little artist.

would love it if any of our spineless elected officials did literally anything constructive but that might not poll well with the bigots so best they can do is a strongly worded letter

hope is not stupid or naive or ignorant. hope is the only fucking survival mechanism we have when all else fails. do not pretend that you are the only person who's ever felt the lack of it and are therefore more reasonable than those of us who have been there and are fighting it every day

hypernormalisation

This heat wave is absolutely bone crushing. I'm so glad I installed central air two years ago. But if you're without AC, or you're dealing with a heat wave for the first time because it's reaching areas that don't historically get this hot, here are a few tips from my years of poverty in a desert:
