OMFG I just poured the remnants of a recently boiled kettle in the sink, only to notice that there was a slug in there (which I'd just melted). Absolutely fucking grim. Had to remove most of it and see if it could recover outside, and then figure out how to remove the remnants of ooze. Wretch-fest

Boy is running in 15mm spikes for the first time at the National XC Champs at Parliament Hill tomorrow. Lethal things! Just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how I can subdue the weapons for transit. I'm leading the warm-up for his team, so I get to run the course, which is kind of cool
