So I am currently looking at the some of the critiques of the concept of meritocracy and I wonder if there is anyone else I should read, apart from Sandel and Littler? I particularly wonder if there is work on the topic outside of political philosophy and sociology. Suggestions highly welcome.

I wrote a review of The Tangle of Science (Cartwright,Hardie,Montuschi, Soleiman, Thresher, OUP 2022). I strongly recommend the central idea in the book - the tangle - though I find their view overly optimistic n I am puzzled by omission of the replication issues. It's for Mind, hence long! #philsci
