Today hasn’t gone to plan. It started with a 🐍in the dam and finished with a 🐍 in FIL’s house. FIL (92) turned up this afternoon on the buggy - he no longer has a license - wanting a torch - he couldn’t see the snake and wanted a torch so he could see & get the snake…. god help us #australia #summer

Bloody hell. It’s going to be a warm one today so we took the dogs for a swim in the dam. A snake swam close by Ted who was totally oblivious concentrating on his ‘stick’ but Clancy saw it from the bank. Dogs quickly called and we retreated! Photo sans snake!

Our son from Sydney and his lovely English girlfriend are staying with us at the farm. When we picked them up from the airport in Perth her eyes widened when we mentioned that driving to the farm was equivalent to driving from Dover to Yorkshire! #australia
