Apparently these are from last Tuesday the 18th. I was fairly certain I drew them on a Thursday. But now I think about it I was wiped out Thursday through to Sunday and just did the very basics. Ye know keeping the kids alive, not letting the house fester. The usual.

Yesterday was another low day. I got the basics done, and rallied for the evening. Which was watching movies with the kids. Today has been better. Although I'm not making a lot of progress on my extra tasks.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

Yesterday I was enjoying helping my kids study. Today it's been less so. They see me primarily as caregiver. As an educator not so much. I'm trying to teach them study skills - special memory recall techniques. They are too focused on their tests to be receptive. I will try again after the tests.

I think these were completed on Sunday. Possibly Monday. Not that anyone worries about that. #Lifedrawing #sketchbook I feel that my ability to render figures quickly in correct proportions is #improving. @artcanorg.bsky.social

My kids are off school due to pesky half term breaks. Desipte this I'm enjoying helping them with their studies and getting through the household chores AND getting to meet my sketchbook commitments. The company around the house is nice.

These are from 14th or 15thof Feb. A series of poses from a site I found that does timed poses. As far as I can remember the poses started of around 1 min up to 25 min.

Herman Melville's "Moby Dick" has perhaps the most memorable opening line in all of Western literature: "I hope you motherfuckers like reading about whales"

Do you just lie there asleep? Just putting things off whilst in REM? I too struggled with lack of motivation whilst unconscious. But now I've turned my life around with NoRest the revolutionary approach to sleep.
