Dinner was a venison pattie from a friend. Nice flavour. Feeling 🤢🤢🤢 Thickener? Preservative? Who knows but 😳 Sigh… I’m not good with a lot of the thickeners.

Sundays I don’t ring Tony until after his tea. He said was getting worried bc hadn’t heard from me since we went out yesterday. But I rang last night? No you didn’t! Oh well, anyway… Did I forget to call? Surely not. We’ve had the same basic pattern for 4 years. If it has to change I warn him. Ugh.

From now on we’re using a wheelchair for Tony whether he remembers the need or not. I’d forgotten how much extra physical load it is for me, lifting it in & out of the car etc. It’s worth it though…

Having said how much I appreciate Alan doing stuff … saint he ain’t 😝 He’s deep frying fish for dinner. Spilt hot oil all over the stove top & bench so grabbed the clean towel to wipe it up 😳 And cut my fish in half IN THE OIL to check it was cooked

I just looked out the window. Alan’s cooking dinner, as he does every night. I’d put the towels etc in the wash & he’s outside hanging it out without me asking or expecting. After caring for Mum for 14 yrs & Tony since 2012-ish, incl Hospice level while working f/t, it’s such a gift to me.
