RFK says autistic people can never write a poem. Has that roadkill-muncher ever written a poem? Cause I would like to workshop it.

RFK Jr: Autistic people don't pay taxes Elon Musk: Uh RFK Jr: Or go on dates Elon Musk: Uhhh RFK Jr: They got no rizz to speak of Elon Musk: Hey! RFK Jr, throwing a baseball: They can't play sports for shit, too, did u know that? Elon Musk, getting hit in the head with a baseball: C'mon man

4Chan was hacked, its source code was leaked, admin emails were leaked, AND a lot of registered users used their real names and .edu email addresses. Lotta CHUDs getting exposed to sunlight today.

Can I be real for a minute

important context about the concentration camps in el salvador:

Öztürk: “I fear that my asthma is not being adequately treated and it will not be adequately treated while I remain in ICE custody...The air is full of fumes from cleaning supplies and is damp which triggers my asthma.” ICE abductions are a disability justice issue. All oppressions are connected.

rabbisforceasefire on IG is doing an excellent livestreamed seder rn for those interested - pesach has always been my favorite holiday but this year in particular it is such a balm to gather with people bravely asserting noncompliance with today's pharaohs & systems of slavery, pillage, and empire

We're so thrilled that @khoreo.bsky.social has been nominated for Best Semiprozine! Thank you so much for nominating us, it is an incredibly huge honor! 🧡🧡🧡

me leaving the house in my fuzzy Hanukkah socks + Birkenstocks 🤝 my neighbor coming home in pajamas and a fuzzy Sanrio Halloween blanket Being the sexiest bitches in the apartment complex

My take is that there's a really awful conflation between the need for the broad left to be more open to people like this--who don't really get it, but have the value set--and the need to be more open to people who understand trans people and want them to die or go back in the closet.

What's most significant about today's day of action is the sheer number of locations where protests took place -- more than 1000 towns and cities, all over the country. That's only happened one or two times before *in all of American history.*

twitch streamers, collectively, have the opportunity to do the funniest thing right now

i also know that many baby leftists want ways to signal that they're 'down with the cause' & this is why they post photos. the best way to show that you're with us is to help marginalized friends. listen to us without judgement. donate if you can. offer us material security when shit hits the fan.

So many things none of us will perceive will come out of today's gatherings. That's the point. People find each other, they take some strength and remember they aren't actually isolated and alone. This is fortification for what's to come.

Idk if this is controversial but I think you should get into the habit of not taking any photos at any action, no matter how tame and vanilla and suburban mom friendly it is. Leave your phone alone even when it seems exceedingly safe. Treat every action as serious bc one day, it likely will be.

there is no "defensible use case" for chatgpt. do your own work and use your own brain or fuck off

Yesterday, the U of Minnesota deleted the American Indian Studies’ statement on Palestine. (Also deleted was a story about Leonard Peltier’s return home and five other dept statements on Palestine.) Our expertise matters if we don’t oppose genocide. web.archive.org/web/20250322...

Thank you so much, Alexandra! It was such a delight to talk to you (and get our photo taken). I can’t wait to continue to be in conversation 💘

last night at the #transhorror reading — a packed room and so much joy

When people say 'politics is too divisive now,' what they really mean is 'I was more comfortable when certain groups suffered quietly.'

This event was incredible --thank you to everyone who came and surpassed @cavar.bsky.social and my dreams!!

Trans Horror was so packed last night I'm still wordless with joy. It was beyond my wildest dreams as to what an AWP offsite could be, thanks to so many amazing writers and a truly fantastic audience. Ty everyone who made it possible. (photo creds to @lunareyhall.com + @cdeskilson.bsky.social !!)

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.
