Tesla is an $80 stock by 2026, mark.

It's so strange that reTrumplikans think that DOGE "savings" can be handed back or used to pay down debt. We are borrowing about 150 Billion dollars in short-fall a month. He won't get close to a "non borrowing" state. Which is ($1.8T) 2024.

It's spring, so of course we'll have endless oblique strains.

On the eve of negotiations with Russia - that do not include sovereign nation that Russia invaded (and still occupy 20% of) - the POTUS blamed Ukraine for starting the war. ugh. I'm over-eating tonight.

Birth certificate arrived and I completely understand Obama's dilemma with doubters. I was born in CT before the time of birth certificates, and they just copied my "notification of birth" onto a state seal letter. Crooked as shit. Hand written corrections on the original notification survive.

AI is going to change everything, and people are kind of pressed by it? We can learn whatever we want. Our jobs will be so easy. So many people, won't work. They'll get a stipend and goof around. Kind of like now in the US, except we won't feel guilty about making up fake work.

I wish I understood reconciliation better. So, the GOP passes a CR with cloture in the senate. Then, they have to convince the parliamentarian to allow reconciliation on the extra tax relief and convince them that it's budget neutral??

It is so tough to open short positions on companies that are brand over financials. I learned that with Starbucks in '00s. But, Tesla seems like an $80 stock in the years to come.

$30T dollar economy is not affected by a $100B trade imbalance. Inflation is not some simple calculus that any POTUS has an answer to. Most of the 18-35 yo maga boys that I know, seemed to thing that the $2T budget deficits would magically disappear on tariffs.

Trump administration restored websites, as directed by the federal court. They did it late last night. But, they followed the order.

Three fun chatGPT questions, as everyone talks about the power of the executive branch and its limits: - What is the Administrative Procedure Act? - What is judicial review? - What was the chevron deference?

I'll be doom-spiralling in the corner here. Until, we see if Trump ignores the courts.

All you knuckleheads telling me not to doom-spiral and here we are, days away from trump telling the federal courts to piss-up-a-rope.

American flag being built on the backs of black Americans. 👨‍🍳😘

More of this, America.

"I promise, America will soon be the Cybertruck of countries—uglier than you could have imagined, built for rich chuds, borderline inoperable, and on fire."

Congress, through its lack of intervention in Trump's cuts and abuses at treasury, has set in motion the next dem potus to take radical actions on DoD budgets.

Can you imagine if P/E ratios for Tesla aren't going to continue a growth play? Tesla at a more traditional p/e would have a current stock price of $40-80?? maybe? I'd love to take a short position, but it's a good rule of thumb to not short a brand-driven (vs. fundamentals) stock.

If anyone uses the phrase "the jab", they completely fall within the whacky reTrumplikin bubble on a Venn diagram.

If no republican is going to stand up to musk, it's going to be a FAFO situation in next democratic potus. This is beyond the pale.

Elon Musk is kind of a dingbat. He's basically a high-tech biz-dev guy. I've been in VC funded high tech for decades and I know the type. Wealth != Intelligence. USAID buys food from the US farmers. Trump ain't going to have farmers suffer billions $$ in top-line losses.

Trump, "we'll rebuild Gaza and move Gazans to a beautiful place and send troops" WH (next day), "nEvErMiNd"

The President of the United States is openly advocating for ethnic cleansing of Gaza. There is no bottom. "Live Updates: Trump, Hosting Israel’s Leader, Says Palestinians Should Leave Gaza" www.nytimes.com/live/2025/02...

These knucklehead reTrumplikans. We used up the US's soft power that has been established with Canada, and FOR WHAT? Canada reiterated what they've already committed to. Do you think Canadians will trust the US to be the stable force to ally with and depend on... now??

If you think having the message "End Racism" on a football field is upsetting, wait until you hear about racism.

Trump proposes a nice fresh land for Gazans. Can you believe that pro Palestinian supporters, in the US, sat out potus election for a statement against the Dems???

It's insane - to the nth degree - that musk and all doge employees have unfettered access all US recipients of federal monies.

One of the things that congressional Republicans are failing to grasp - what's good for the goose is good for gander. Under a democratic potus, an SGE will be able to access all gun records and randomly scrutinize.

This is a great idea. Do you know anyone in Congress you can talk to?

Neither the mainstream press nor our political system seem to have digested the fact that the U.S. president is trying to illegally annex a NATO ally using economic coercion.

"George Soros and bunch of his compSci have infiltrated the treasury and are deciding which government spending to authorize" Psychobilly Freakout is what would ensue.

Great, now we pissed off the nicest people in the world and didn't even win them as the 51st state. And, now they have grocery stores segregated into canadian and douche-bag-country products.
