sometime in the 80s my mom and i were invited to a house party and my mom made it clear to me that there was a trans woman that was gonna be there, and i was like, okay, and i went, and it was great!! there were a lot of plants!! and barbecue!! and it was an overwhelmingly positive experience 5/5 😎

most of the appeals we get are from people who speak English, which suggests there's a massive majority of folks who are suffering even worse. The language barrier could partially explain why we're not (at least im not) seeing appeals from people in Sudan, which is... well it's indescribable
