How can I make the federal gov’t “real” to my Fla and Ohio cousins? They’re not poor, rich, retired, or veterans and I’m looking for issues that are more immediate to the average conservative.

Just like in his first term 47 is using creative ways to get rid of civil servants. Mandate a full time return to work and then offer generous severance packages to those who quit. Call this out for what it is.

Thanks, Clarence Thomas.

So, one positive thing from the election, being a childless cat lady is now something to be proud of instead of a stigma. We own that term now.

If there's one thing I want folks to grasp about this election, it's this: substack.com/@sarahkendzi...

Conversations with my Libertarian, Michigan resident, Harris voting, Brother-in-Law who thinks climate change is not caused by humans, lead me to realize we need some PSA style information streams to teach people how to watch news and identify bias.

Can someone point me to the reports on the profit Trump made from the presidency? I know there was some news before the election, but it got lost in all the other important news.

Quite minor in the grand scheme of things, but one thing I think blue states (and CA in particular) should be doing if we morph into tariffsland is require companies operating in the state (above some size) to list the price of tariffs on receipts separately

No one is above the law in our country, unless you happen to be a twice impeached, adjudicated rapist, business fraud, felon who tried to overturn the results of a legitimate presidential election via violent coup. In that case, yes — you are in fact, above the law.

Still true…

So, how do you deal with otherwise reasonable people who voted for Trump without cutting them out of your life? My cousin made maybe a simple comment about a T-shirt and Peanut the squirrel and it spiraled me right back to the post Election Day rage.

Currently hung up on the realization that each half of the country has its own reality. How do we fix this?

Today's questions to be answered before we blame the DNC: Why don't people know how great the economy is? Why don’t people know why the bridges are getting fixed? Why aren’t the Republicans being blamed for failed border policies? Why don’t the Republicans have to answer to the public?
