Wait, they just clarified the PEPFAR waiver allowing reinstatement of lifesaving care for HIV &TB, & staff to be paid for (some) services. WHO WILL DO/OVERSEE THE WORK if everyone is fired? What about hallowed accountability. A sure way to reduce it is by “laying off” dedicated, rule-abiding staff.
