I believe this TikTok -> xiaohongshu event happened in the last few days is the beginning of something better. Over the last 20 years, we never questioned why the internet is like this, wasn’t it supposed to be bridging people’s lives? How come we’ve never questioned it until now?

Some differences on responses of a simple weather question between few well known AI products on the market right now. ChatGPT is the most thorough, Copilot is very similar. (Backend is ChatGPT). Claude data still aren't realtime. And Google Gemini is the funniest, it literally just gives me links.

Having a nephew asking for suggestions on video game higher education program to enroll. While excited at first about introducing mine. Then it suddenly hit me. For smartphones, I can understand it being touch screen. People usually use their phones in safe environments, and can dedicate their attention to it. However with cars, you should always keep your eyes on the road while driving, and a touch screen interface design is contradicting with this goal.
