I need more funny / culture / shitposters on my timeline. Currently only following journalists and it kinda makes for a dark read, as you can imagine. Hit me with your best recommendations.

Same goes for 18F folks... 💪🇺🇸

Unplugged before it could thrive

this ‘jurassic park’ story 😭

fuck it’s march already

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

“That is why Trumpists are so focused on “ending DEI” in the federal workforce. They see anti-discrimination and inclusion as a ladder of upward mobility for people they do not believe should have one.”

The stage of capitalism where companies advertise on a Nazi porn site for fear of government reprisal. gizmodo.com/it-sure-look...

Someone tell pmarca they’re making another AI censored and woke.

It's fun watching which lists/starter packs I'm added to, which are generally things like "tech" or "news" or whatever, and then every few days there's one that's like "fucking idiot assholes I never want to hear from" and I appreciate the reminder that my posts are not for everyone.

not a cell phone in sight. just ppl living in the moment.

Did you know ⌘ was initially used as a touristic attraction icon in Nordic maps? Many organizations rely on custom icons. Starting today, on Felt, you too can upload your organization's custom icon set and render them faster than you can like this post.

We are hiring our very first product manager at @felt.com — it’s a brand new role for our budding product organization. Do you know someone or maybe that person is you? Please reach out! felt.com/careers

[leaning over to my seatmate in a nosediving passenger jet] you like string beans? guess what! thanks to donald trump's policies, they're about to get more expensive. donald trump promised to lower the prices of string beans, but he didn't. now you'll have to pay more for string beans than ever befo

I love @theverge.com overall but there’s a special place in my heart for Liz errr @lopatto.bsky.social

Well now those are absolutely the wrong shoes to be deadlifting in

The short film I’ve produced with my friend Amy (and her incredible team!) premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. It’s a story of a young immigrant rediscovering her identity through a mysterious connection. Super excited to share more soon!

It’s been two hours so it’s already out of date but I wrote about *gestures wildly* all this, and what I think we can do. www.todayintabs.com/p/illegal-an...

Today we are excited to announce a major release that delivers our users even more ways to work with data securely on the platform: SSO, self-hosted VPC and authenticated embeds. Here are all the ways you can now work quickly and securely collaborate in Felt 👇

there’s a really specific term for someone who does nazi stuff in order to appeal to nazis and thereby gain power, i can’t quite recall it now but im sure it’ll come to me

Super excited to launch major new security features! SSO for your IT admin, authenticated embeds for integration with your internal tools, and of course, last but not least, our VPC support for those in the AWS cloud. Major improvements, and more to come!

superextreme

Everything is dumb

Today, we are happy to announce one of our most-awaited features: native SQL support on @felt.com Starting today, our Enterprise customers can create custom layers from their existing datasources with a simple SQL query, and then share it with their colleagues.

we just opened a new rec for a staff level role here at @felt.com — it's probably the coolest infra job you can have (because i work here) let me know if you know anyone who'd be interested

I really, really don't want to do this, but let's do a bit (just a LITTLE BIT) of fact checking about what Zuck said on the Joe Rogan podcast, because this is something I not only followed closely, but also spent time *talking to the actual people at Meta who dealt with this* which WAS NOT ZUCK.

where does the new york times even find these people

Honestly would have been more appropriate for Zuckerberg to have made his announcement yesterday so it was on the anniversary of an event his social media platforms helped foment.

Hahahaha great r/FuckYouInParticular content

ok so in the end the cybertruck explosion story has a lot of pretty dark elements that reflect really poorly on american culture, but I think we can all admit that it's a little funny that the guy clearly plugged the wrong las vegas into google maps

i love most of solnit's writing including this one but this was the weakest part of this essay — most drivers on the road are awful at driving; they'd happily risk other people's lives to reply to a text. driverless cars are leaps and bounds better than letting humans drive.
