i am in the process of beading hospital bracelets i’ve collected over the past two years of hospitalizations. this is the first project while i am in residence at Banff Centre. this was a lot more emotional than i was anticipating. also in this house we ignore deadnames and misgendering.

today is a big travel day as i head to banff for an artist residency for the next five weeks. hopefully the drive is smooth and the roads are clear-ish. my bb shaved off his facial hair into what he referred to as a “mourning moustache” and called it his hairy pout lol i’m gonna miss that weirdo
