Ik heb zojuist ook een reis voor mijn vrouw en mijzelf vastgelegd voor het najaar, met 1 week in Atacama, en 2 weken met een camper toeren door Patagonië van Coyhaique naar Punta Arenas -- so utterly cool and exciting!

I am very happy with my choice to come to Europe for my postdoc. I would encourage others to do the same if they are able.
I agree the EU should seize this moment in time and expand funding to recruit the best from around the world (I doubt they will).

Dat is niet het bijbelse beeld van de God die ik ken. Die God is schepper en onderhouder en ligt ten grondslag aan ALLES, verklaarbaar of niet

Is je redenering als volgt:
- wetenschap (evolute ea) biedt verklaringen voor sommige zaken, dus daar hebben we God niet voor nodig
- voor sommige complexe puzzels hebben we nog geen wetenschappelijk verklaring, en daar zien we dan "de hand van God" = daar heeft God een speciaal wonder gedaan
