Quite frankly, I'd say this should apply to Republicans too, but what do I know, I grew up in the Reagan years when the GOP still stood for something, even if I didn't agree with it.

For the trans people losing their jobs, being barred from federal facilities, kicked out of the military, and effectively losing the right to a public education, losing access to valid ID, and health care, and ending civil rights, the effects are catastrophic. Like, Germany inn 33-34 level of bad.
