Okay! The rock wall is DONE. The rock planter borders are DONE. The plant transplanting is DONE. Every single muscle in my body is tired and sore but it is all DONE. 🎉🎊👍

Just found out that kefir is an effective laxative 😬

Went to Walmart. There was a 60-ish woman wearing a cheerleader ensemble, complete with pompoms, little white boots and full drag queen makeup. Shrimp yakisoba and rice for dinner. Walnut ice cream for dessert. Tomorrow, if it's not raining, will be yard work. Ugh. That is all.

French toast and bacon. Yum. Must be Sunday.

And yet another dreary cold day in the PNW. At least it's not snowing. Please enjoy this photo of my newest houseplant. Tag said ivy but I dunno 🤔

I lived in the LA area for most of my life and there were fires every year, sometimes terrible, sometimes not so bad. I always wondered why the worst fires were almost always in the ritzy neighborhoods. I hope everyone is safe in those areas-stay strong!

Leggings. Oy. I daresay 9 out of 10 people that wear them in public really, really shouldn't. I personally would rather not see everything on display. #leggings #myeyesareburning

www.facebook.com/share/p/1B8F... I hope the people that did this are arrested, fined and sentenced to a few thousand hours of community service. It was most likely teenagers - the parents should pay, too.

My lawn is crawling with bushtits-a gazillion of the tiny critters! I think they're nibbling on clover seed! And they're flying off at supersonic speed, like a huge gray cloud!

Yesterday a record was set. On my way to buy pistachio biscotti and N20 cartridges, I was passed 4 times on the highway, cut off 6 times (2 were scary close) and tailgated twice by monstrous trucks. People get stressed and weird during major holidays - please be safe and just be careful.

Yikes. Winds are raging here. Lost Internet just as I was posting the golf course photo. Here it is.

Overcast, cold day at the golf course. There's a 5 mile walking trail that winds around the greens and lots of people walk dogs and kids here. The bridge soars over a set of train tracks and if people are standing up there the driver toots the horn and everybody waves enthusiastically. That is all.

Another dreary day in the PNW. Winds are whipping the trees and water, tree branches are flying everywhere. Haven't lost power, thank goodness. And I am having a small mug of hot cocoa ☕

I'm at the half way point of my daily walk. Here's Mount Rainier above Point Defiance with a compliment of cormorants in the foreground. Beautiful day in the neighborhood. That is all.

It's a beautiful day in the PNW. Sun is shining, 47 degrees F, no breeze, no rain or snow. Loaded lentil soup is simmering. Sourdough rolls are waiting patiently to be slathered with butter. Life is good. That is all.

The mall was insane yesterday. No parking, rude drivers, people walking everywhere in a frenzied rush. I went home. Nothing in that place worth the immense hassle.

Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Blueskyers! I am very new to this platform and am really enjoying the excellent vibes. Thanks to you all 💖

This stuff. From Trader Joe's. I sprinkle it on veggies, eggs, in soup and chili. Yumyumyum.

Are there any knitters, crocheters or weavers here? Anyone working on things for the winter months? Here's a photo of my latest project - a sweater based on a pattern for a bog coat. That is all-carry on.

Greetings! I am a very new Bluesky member. Still finding my way around and have found a few interesting things. That is all. Please enjoy this photo of apples.
