The sooner we can stop making animation a competition and treat it more like artists getting inspired by one another with each new film or show coming out, the better. Like, I want to celebrate films being released and not trash others for how much money they make over another.

@loudtoon99.bsky.social to be honest, I find myself getting a bit less interested in the work of pixar ever since disney began micromanaging pixar. Its not just the trans erasure in win or lose but also the elio director replacement and the interfering in hoppers. Hope iger leaves for good soon

It still baffles me that that anonymous voter could say something so wretched regarding the Best Animated Feature category ten years ago about Song of the Sea and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, two of the best and most visually stunning animated films of the last decade.
