At #ICTM25, I was thinking about the question posed about why do you love math? I think my answer is the teaching and learning of math continues to reignite my passion for education. There are many obstacles to muddle through. 97% of the time, the messiness keeps things interesting!

I worked with teachers today on the difference between the two types of division problems. The INCREDIBLE thinking, questions, and hard work happening was so inspiring. When we create opportunities for teachers to learn, the trickle down impact to classrooms will be phenomenal!

This is a really good read. There’s so much more I want to say about why it’s a good read, but I won’t. Bottom line is teaching isn’t an all or nothing endeavor; teachers have to have the opportunity to learn how to make the best choices for their students!
