Monday and the Hawthorn is in bud. Thursday and we’re in a full on clout casting situation. That’s at 83m above sea level. We’ll see what it’s like in the village at 166m.

IT’S HONEY MANGO SEASON! House mate has been to the local ethnic shop and returned with treasure. It’s still early in the season, so they’re a bit dear. But says if he’d been in India he’d already be eating them from the family farm. Right. Let’s get sticky!

Back from work and sitting in the back garden. So far I have seen, and then heard, as they disappeared into a bush. Three Sparrows getting a bit feisty. Not sure of their sex. Then two male Wood Pigeons scrapping over a female. She was happy to stick around and watch them scrap. #GardenBirds

“People in cities think nothing dramatic ever happens in villages but that’s not true.” Like the time there was a house fire & the Air Ambulance had to land on the school playing field. Sadly the outcome wasn’t good. But the school kids got a tour of the helicopter class by class.

#SundayPix #SundayPixFlame August 2021 Friend & myself went camping to ‘The Secret Valley’ (Some land a friend owns towards mid Wales.) had a fire on the go most of the time & just relaxed. Admittedly there aren’t a lot of flames in the second two pictures. But that’s not always the point of a fire.
