The livery launch event was fine! Fairly breezy but a little bit naff. Chatting with pals throughout made it fun. Downsides were that the liveries weren't super different from last year and it dragged a bit. But! Better than I thought it would be, easily.

As much as I give Eurosport grief for inflexible broadcasts and all the issues that come from that (spoiler: it is because they have no money), it blows that more motorsport is getting double pay walled. Also, what a brand to say goodbye to! :(

I think some people think this and that's cool. I really hope people get something from it. But the sustained hype of launches dripped over two weeks, I much prefer. Also if they used actual new cars, even better.

It should be a big art attack challenge. All 10 teams have a dummy car on a big stage, they have only primary colours and fat 3 inch brushes. Most accurate to their actual livery gets 10 WCC points. Of course the big teams would employ street artists as 'consultants' to ensure points.
