This is wild. #palisades

Everyone from celebrities to ordinary folks have lost their homes in the Palisades and jokers on Twitter are finding time to be sarcastic about it. One of the great advantages of free speech is that it highlights bad taste and stupidity, it's actually why free speech conceptually is pretty solid. 🎯☃️

I was interviewed at CES this morning. We mentioned that consumers will decide whether they want to be on a platform that is “unfiltered free speech “ or “ moderated”. I mentioned that I loved @bsky.app , and spontaneously people started clapping 🔥.

To all my PC gamers out there who might own Nvidea graphics cards, if you're still using GeForce Experience I URGE you to remove it & download their new Nvidea App. No login required to upgrade drivers, looks a lot better and is way more performance friendly! Happy gaming💝

🤣

Word of the Day is ‘gwenders’, from old Cornish dialect: a disagreeable tingling in the extremities (or no sensation at all) due to extreme cold.

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

Be selective with your battles. Sometimes, peace is better than being right.(Unknown)(Google photo) Happy Sunday, y'all.

Word of the Day is a true favourite, as some of you will know. Apricity (17th century) is the warmth of the sun on a winter’s day.

For the last few years, I've been publishing posts about things I'm excited to wear each new season. Here's my list for fall/ winter, which hopefully contains a thing or two that inspires something in your wardrobe. 🔗: dieworkwear.com/2024/11/15/e...

Interesting. I saw the Titanic Shipwreck Museum in Vegas last year. It was revealing. A main reason why the ships hull broke was bc they used the same refab steel that was used to make the first class deck, down to the lower levels. This made the foundation weak and prone to structural damage.

The only sane plan. 🤓

Nice. The Museum of Broadway makes Condé Nast Traveler’s list of “Best Museums in #NYC” 💕 www.cntraveler.com/gallery/best...

Good chat with Goldman’s Hatzius today — on rates, and on what level of tariffs he worries would meaningfully bite into growth and real income. @cnbcofficial.bsky.social www.cnbc.com/video/2024/1...

My word of the day (and personal recommendation) is ‘snerdling’ (18th century): nestling cosily beneath the covers and holding off the day a little longer. Morning.

Bluesky has passed Threads in daily web visits and is also no. 1 on Apple’s App Store. 🙌

Agree 💯

Good morning. Word of the Day is as beautiful as it is underused. ‘Confelicity’ is finding joy in the happiness and success of others.

Lovely photo...😀
