Its noteworthy (but not surprising) that the Dungeons and Dragons viewership has decreased since the pandemic, even to levels lower than before 2020. Meanwhile, Tabletop RPG viewership has a net increase from a minuscule start. Both now have a similar channel-to-viewer ratio.

Most game shops that stay active round my city (Minneapolis) base the most of their business on TCGs, board games, and tabletop wargaming, and they service a neighborhood of regular visitors. Some are game halls w/ food and play space. While they sell, none use TTRPGs as their flagship product.
