I had a plumber come this week who unprompted started talking about how the Obama administration ruined dishwashers? He was here for an unrelated drain problem.

Warren is the ranking member on the Senate Banking Committee. Wyden is the same on the Senate Finance Committee. They need to go to the Treasury building with crews from CNN and NBC and demand to be let in. As soon as they're not, hold a press conference right there and explain what DOGE is doing.

I think if you are using LLMs looking for a progressive view you will always be disappointed. These are tools for entrenching an existing status quo. The examples you have looking are the result of specific training data, and if you want examples of chatGPT giving shitty results, there are plenty!

Laws only work under the threat of enforcement! It does seem like we collectively would be familiar with that concept by now.

I think the more neutral one in future tense was a popup before it shut off. The other one is what's up now that it's actually off.

Cool! I am at the point where I want to start making my own glazes but haven't got very far. At least for me it's not a time issue though since I don't sell anything.

These are nice! Can I ask, do you use commercial glazes or do you usually make your own?

It's very funny to me that he joked about chad smith and will Ferrell when he should be doing the same bit with Ted danson.

My strongest opinion is that golf carts are the perfect sized transportation and we should be designing cities around them. Trains are great for long distances but golf carts are perfect for daily life

None of these people were living in New York at the time, which might be obvious from the fact they were touring the empire state building

The definitely-not-Andretti cadillac team getting in is going to be big though, especially if they are any good. Same deal with an American driver, it's a great idea but it's only broadly exciting if they are competing for podiums.

Honestly I think they need professional full time stewards. I don't think the average fan cares or knows how that works day to day, but arbitrary penalties and enforcement is going to be a turnoff!

Engineering classes in many universities do the same thing, for me it was usually one double sided 8.5x11 page.

Breakfast sandwich with egg and cheddar on a bagel with scrapple (eastern PA), some fries (western PA), mumbo sauce (northern VA so I am counting it) and seasoned with old bay. This is the most coherent I could get, but I'd eat one

It's not that wawa has the best hoagie around, it's that it's consistent quality and available 5 minutes from wherever you are

Same, and same. Sheetz has a better selection of packaged snacks and consistently clean bathrooms, and it's almost always a decent gas station. Wawa has better food.

But the problem is that it isn't just the drivers at risk, it's everyone on the road. The whole point of regulation is to reduce that kind of risk because it can't just be up to those few people
