So I fixed my original sink leak with JB Weld and I said to myself wait I know how to actually fix this, so I got my sink basket strainer and the sink wrench, started using the wrench and I snapped off the teeth on the basket strainer, corrosion is not cool 😃 JB Weld was correct.
