Finally making some progress in rebuilding my Now Playing Card in SwiftUI! (this is attempt number who-knows-how-many over the years) Still really struggling with that top safe-area inset. During the drag gesture my background really wants to pop into the safe area (vs animating) 🤔

ok, the new Foundation Models API is really kind of impressive Was able to hack in an (ugly) "Magic Mix" feature into @darknoise.app in about an hour that creates a mix from a prompt that you can edit and then save really quickly

Right now I have this nice fill animation (using Lottie) when you toggle favorite state. I've spent my entire layover attempting to replicate this with the new SF Symbols variable draw effects but haven't been able to figure it out yet 🤔

Getting a haircut I saw a line at the GameStop next door. Chatted it up with people in line curious how long they were planning to wait (it was 3pm) when an employee came out and said “everyone currently in line can preorder to guarantee a Switch 2 for tonight’s release” So uh… I got the thing 😅
