I know a few things about cargo theft, and this is highly irregular. Typically this type of theft happens near the pickup because the driver is followed. Often an inside job and someone knows what they're following. Sometimes a pilferer gets lucky, but this isn't an area of major pilferage.

In the Pokémon universe there don't seem to be regular animals, only Pokémon and humans. But Pokemon and described in terms of animal representatives. I assume mass domestication followed by essentially fighting non domesticatable animals to extinctions. It's like family friendly dog fighting.

I cut through a small curve of Arkansas on sort of a detour and so the kids could say they've been through. We saw 2 crop dusters. One landed and started reloading next to us. And a barn owl swooped across the road. Kids are big fans of Arkansas now.
